Behold Mora

Description

Here's your random reassurement that Ravi is not dead! Yaay! I've been working for quite a while, thought my fingers got stiff, so I animated this piece. And guess what? Seems like I'm quite in shape, so tomorrow I'm back to animating your commissions (and hopefully taking more of them shortly, yaay!).

Now, who is Mora? What is that furry thing she's holding?
Mora is one of the main characters from the book I'm writing. I've come up with her one night, writing another bloody scene with Eriu. Why? Easy. Comedy. Mora is laugh, Mora is innocence, Mora will help the plot move forward, giving me an opportunity to explain things to the potential reader.
Now, she's holding a R.O.U.S. thingy, for which I did not get a name yet. Donno if I will, maybe it was just an idea for an animation that I'm gonna abandon once it will come to writing it.

ANYWAY, you probably want to know the mechanics.
Done with Adobe Photoshop CS6, no idea how much time I have spent on this one, but it's got 186 frames (mind you, that's the longest animation I posted on dA, so I consider it my personal record). That's almost 15 seconds. WHOA, right?

Thank you for posting your animations. Without that, I would never have thought of doing that, and yet it seems rather logical, to put subtitles when you cannot have a dubbing for your characters.

I had thought ... And already integrate short poses in a video to put text. Old silent film way. But the idea of subtitles is so much better!
