EDIT: Please, stop bullying that person. It's not okay.
I'm kind of out of internet atm, writing this as I wait for my connection to be back for a minute so I can post that edit, but what I learned from some comments you left here, this person is on hiatus, so they won't be able to credit me or take down the work in the nearest future.
I understand what you're trying to do, guys. That's basically the reason I posted this, I admit, but calling them names is as disrespectful as them tracing over my art. They will return from their hiatus to over a hundred nasty comments about what a piece of shit they are, which is not true. You're not helping. So please, stop.
Comments you already left I'm sure gave that person an idea of how people react to that sort of stuff, I'm sure they understand, no need for further hate or poking. Stop.

Now that's just rude. Person not only traced over the whole picture, they didn't bother to credit me or at very very leastmention that they didn't draw it themself. There is just that comprehensive explanation of the whole scene. img.photobucket.com/albums/v50… It's funny as it's nasty, cause they didn't even change the size of the file.
Here's the original piece with the copy right next to it.

I wrote a comment about two days ago but there was no answer since then. I'm pissed. Working on proper anatomy isn't a piece of cake when you work on big canvas, and having someone steal your work just gives you a headache.
I can't deny, I have traced over a lot of drawings and pictures that didn't belong to me back in the days, but I never posted a single one. It wasn't mine, if I did it - I did it for fun/ to try something out, it was just for me. To learn something new.

In contraty to popular belief, it's not a manifestation of admiration for someone's work. Posting such work without permission and not even giving them credit is disrespectful and damn nasty thing to do. You take away from an artist something they've been working on, something they've put their soul in and were sweating over and cursed at many times, yet in the end gave them satisfaction.
I just... I can't. I'm out to eat sweets before my iner Eriu will make me shoot at things.

(That's just a quick journal to write my anger out. I will answer FAQ in the next one.)

While I don't condone art thieft in any manner, this journal (before the edit) just leads me to believe you didn't check out the other artist's journal or you looked at her page right before she posted about her hiatus, this whole mess is just one big misunderstanding. She claims she didn't know you were here on deviantart, and while I'm not saying it's therefore okay I'm just saying that however she located the image she didn't have a way to contact the artist (you) for permission.

All I know is that this mess is just an outcome of miss-communication, and while I don't blame you for the "white knights" they should have thought things through before harassing and bullying, which should also never be done under any circumstances. It makes the person who is bullying look just as small as the thief, and most people (including myself) would not apologize if I came back to a sudden bombardment of harassment and seeing that things weren't handled more...maturely by everyone as a whole.

I honestly believe that both sides have a lesson to learn, along with the white knights. Anywho, not trying to say that I support the thief, just saying that next time, if another thief pops up, please attempt to deal with them, wait two weeks, then send people to report the drawing and remind them not to do anything stupid.

Now, have you guys settled this? I read the journal of the thief, she says she's finally out of training but is waiting for her computer and won't be back for about 2 weeks because of this, and she sounds incredibly sorry.
